The 5th International Conference on Cognitive Informatics & Soft Computing (CISC-2024) which will be held at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India, from 30th – 31st March, 2024 Jointly organized by World Leadership Academy(WLA), KIIT Deemed to be University & Baekseok University is to bring together the latest research in computer science: cognition Computer Science, Cognitive Science, intelligence Science, information sciences and machine intelligence.
The main goal of the conference is to research and develop technologies to facilitate and extend the information management capacity of individuals through the development and application of novel concepts in human-system integration to address cognitive bottlenecks (e.g., limitations in attention, memory, learning, comprehension, visualization abilities, and decision making). Such mitigations may include applications and technologies informed by research in psychology/behavioral science, neuroscience, artificial intelligence, or linguistics.
CISC-2024 welcomes researchers, practitioners, and graduate students to join the international initiative on cognitive informatics and cognitive computing toward the investigation of cognitive mechanisms and processes of human information processing, and the development of the next generation of cognitive computers and advanced computing systems.
About KIIT-DU
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) was established in 1992 as a vocational training centre with only two staff and 12 students. However, it took shape as an institution only in 1997, when degree engineering programme commenced. KIIT owes its existence to the vision of its founder Prof. Achyuta Samanta who, with no land, limited finances (only Rs. 5000/-) and little knowledge of higher education to create an institution for the benefit of the society.
